About the Role
Corus Radio Guelph-Kitchener (1460 CJOY, MAGIC 106, 91.5 The Beat, 107.5 Dave Rocks and Country 104) have an exciting opportunity in our Sales Department for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Local Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the current client base and providing superior customer service to new and existing advertising partners.
You’ll be working on things like:
- New business development
- Managing an existing client list
- Preparing and presenting custom integrated advertising solutions
- Coordinating creative from initial sales meeting through to preparation of ads and client approval
- Providing exceptional customer service
If you have the following…we want to hear from you!
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- High level of initiative and self-motivation
- Conceptual/creative thinker, problem solver
- Strong organizational, written, presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph business environment
- Must enjoy a fast-paced work atmosphere that is based on team and individual efforts
- Winning attitude and a desire to overachieve
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
