We are seeking a Tax Analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our corporate tax team. The successful individual will be responsible for gathering key information for tax compliance, preparing certain tax filings, and monitoring compliance deadlines. This position requires the ability to work both independently on core projects, and collaboratively with the global tax team , the global finance team, and local controllers on larger company projects and initiatives.

What you will do
Assist in the preparation of the various components related to the quarterly and annual income tax provision.
Manage the Tax fixed assets and intangibles for U.S. operations in Sage and maintain Book – Tax reconciliations of the fixed assets and intangibles.
Coordinate gathering, summarizing, and analyzing information necessary for external tax preparers to prepare corporate income tax returns.
Prepare U.S. Sales tax and B&O tax / Canadian GST and PST and other local tax returns and remit related payments.
Coordinate, remit, and track U.S. corporate tax payments, and monitor tax compliance payment and filing deadlines within a global tax tracker.
Work with accounting teams to maintain intercompany transfer pricing documentation.
Support global tax planning and process improvement initiatives, as well as other tax related matters on an ad hoc basis .
What you will need
3+ years experience working in the tax department of a large organization and / or experience working for a public accounting firm in the tax practice.
Experience in compiling tax compliance and tax provision working papers.
Experience organizing information and tasks, while monitoring a variety of deadlines.
Sense of urgency and decision-making skills conducive to managing priorities and meeting internal and external timelines.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to understand financial information necessary to prepare corporate tax filings.
A results-oriented focus is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, while allocating one s time effectively to manage assigned projects independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate effectively across the company and externally.
