Located 45 mins north of the GTA. For over 30 years, Country Signs has been the leader in new construction and refurbishing of gas stations across Canada. We provide a one stop shop for our customers including but not limited to, full installations, repairs, and service. We pride ourselves on doing whatever it takes to satisfy the customer with a ‘can do’ mentality. We are currently looking for dedicated, hardworking individual(s) to join our team and be an ambassador for Country Signs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to problem solve on the spot
- Assist the Lead Hand in all aspects of construction on site including but not limited to the assembly of the steel canopy, installation of signage, and sign packages
- Assist in excavating and pouring of concrete bases
- Ability to read and understand steel canopy blueprints
- Ability to use various hand and/or power tools
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Lead Hand
Requirements for this position:
- Excellent work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to travel out of town for a minimum of one week at a time
- Working at Heights
- Physically able to lift 50lbs throughout the day
- Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
- Experience in all types of construction sign installation and use of basic power tools
- Mobile crane license is an asset, but we will train
- Steel experience preferred but not required
- Work well with others
- Self starter
- Min of ‘G’ license with a clean abstract
