As a member of the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre management team, you will be responsible for professional leadership of multiple continuing care units outside of regular business hours. You will work as part of a diverse team that includes staff, residents, families and physicians. Key aspects of the role include the professional development of your team, sound resource management and ensuring quality resident centred care. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Covenant Health Mission, Vision, professional Standards of Practice and Legislation governing Continuing Care. This position is non-unionized.
Required Qualifications:
Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Recent clinical experience required. Flexible, highly motivated and self-directed. Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Continuing Care experience preferred.
