The Site Operations Manager will support the Unit Manager and is responsible for the leadership and operations of a variety of disciplines at the site. This position is accountable for the daily management of delegated services and their efficient function and performance, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to support quality care. The position will participate in staff recruitment and retention initiatives, in operational planning, and in monitoring operational budget to ensure efficiency and fiscal responsibility. This position will also provide support to the site when the Site Administrator is not on location. The Site Operations Manager provides leadership, problem solving & critical thinking skills to make decisions, while collaborating with staff and leaders at the site. This position will work to resolve issues brought forward by physicians, patients/residents or family members as required. The Site Manager will provide coverage for the Site Admiinistrator or the Unit Manager as required. This position will monitor work practices and patient safety measures to ensure high quality care is delivered. The Site Manager also will ensure that the Site Administrator is aware of any sensitive and/or escalating issues within program/units and maintians a communicative, colllaborative environment. This position is non-unionized.
Required Qualifications:
A degree in a health discipline or equivalent is required. Must have at least 5 years progressive responsible experience within a healthcare setting, three of which will have been in a supervisory/management level position. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Knowledge and experience with Change Management Principles.
