We are looking for an internal auditor to manage multiple audit programs for independent contractors who process real-time applications for the Federal Lifeline and ACP Programs. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with the independent contractor verification process, handle all compliance and field support inquiries and escalations, conduct independent contractor audits via Zoom, and collaborate with multiple departments across the organization to resolve issues and conduct investigations.
Job Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure compliance with the independent contractor verification process
Handle all compliance and field support escalations
Conduct random independent contractor audits via Zoom and report findings accordingly
Conduct investigations on customer complaints
Identify, investigate and track independent contractor violations
Work with the operations team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies
Identify and report on potential risks to management and recommend appropriate solutions
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal auditing policies
Accept incoming phone calls for agent escalations
Handle agent, distributor, and sales support tickets submitted via Zendesk in real-time
Improve agent-related escalation processes
Other departmental tasks as needed
