The CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB or the School) delivers innovative, competency-based learning education to more than 15,000 learners in Western and Northern Canada who are completing their formal education towards certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Canada. CPAWSB delivers the CPA preparatory courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) through a combination of online distance learning and face-to-face modules that lead to the national Common Final Examination (CFE). Primary Purpose of the Role Within the Organization:
IT Proctors’ provide technical support to exam writers using CPAWSB issued laptops, assist the monitoring writers to ensure exam rules and regulations are upheld, and submit incident reports with details of technical issues experienced.
Hours and Compensation:
· Hourly contracted for each exam session
· $60.00 /hour
Reporting and Work Relationships:
IT Proctors report to the Exam Contractor Management Team
IT Proctors will work with other exam contractors at their location, such as Exam Supervisors and Invigilators. Coordination between support roles is necessary to ensure the overall success of the examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that the requirement set by CPA Canada and CPAWSB are met.
Assist exam writers with technical issues related to the exam software being used before, during, and after the exams.

Training
Approved IT proctor applicants are required to complete specific training before receiving a contract offer. Additional hands-on training will be provided on site during exams.
All contractors are required to complete ongoing training as part of remaining active in the CPAWSB contractor pool and to receive contract offers.
