CRAFT Academy Salon is looking for a tech-savvy, fun, creative, driven, beauty industry lovin’ Digital Content Retail Marketing Curator.
The perfect candidate will help us create and deliver the best possible brand experience to not only our clientele but to our incredible team members as well.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorming new ideas and participating in content development through the creation of engaging written, graphic, and video content that fosters audience interaction, boosts website traffic, and increases audience base
- Updating our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and/or LinkedIn
- Assisting with on-going projects, website updates, and social media campaigns
- Analyzing performance data and writing reports on the success of our projects
- Handling administrative tasks, including social media calendar management, content scheduling and the addition of new online platforms
- Communicating with our target audience on social media by responding to messages, comments, and queries
- Managing and updating the CRAFT Shop (Shopify Online store)
- Completing monthly inventory and ensuring stock levels match those of the online store
- Rolling out the monthly marketing plan via social media, in salon and via scheduled mass email campaigns
- Re-merchandising within the salon to reflect the monthly marketing plan
- Scheduling company and client mass emails via our salon software and Shopify
- Packing and preparation for shipping online orders
- Growing online sales by creating and implementing innovative sales strategies, assessing current strategies, seeking opportunities for growth, and identifying areas for improvement
- Reporting sales numbers and projections to the CEO and Salon Director
- Involving the CRAFT Team in content creation and team development when possible
Requirements
- Education in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or Website Creation or certification in similar fields
- Experience in a digital marketing role is a plus
- Existing eye-catching and engaging social media presence
- Experience with a variety of platforms and tools, such as Shopify, Squarespace, Canva/Adobe Photoshop/Adobe InDesign, Excel, Rosy Salon Software
- Retail and Customer Service Sales Experience
- A passion for social media
- Experience with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics/ Google Ad Manager/Google Ad Words
- Experience within the Hair Industry is appreciated
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Empathic nature
