Credence Construction Ltd. specializes in industrial mechanics, welding, carpentry, and other like-trade related fields. We provide ongoing facility maintenance, shutdowns, small to mid-sized capital construction projects, as well as breakdown and emergency services to client facilities primarily in the agricultural and industrial mining industries.
We are currently looking for labourers and skilled labourers, or individuals with mechanical, welding, and construction aptitudes and / or experience in similar fields. Travel is required as new hires will provide services at client locations across the Prairie Provinces.
Successful candidates will be hired under a seasonal status however there is opportunity for those positions to be moved to full-time provided the performance and workload permits it. We offer competitive wages along with an employee benefit program for full-time staff.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities / Competencies:
· Capable of following safe work practices and promoting safety.
· Capable and proficient at using hand and power tools.
· Assist in inspecting, troubleshooting, aligning, installing, and commissioning a variety of industrial and mechanical equipment.
· Understanding of regular facility maintenance practices and processes would be an asset.
· Capable of working in a team setting or alone.
· Capable of following detailed instructions.
· Capable of communicating and cooperating with clients, as necessary.
· Capable of multi-tasking.
· Must possess a strong work-ethic.
· Strong mechanical aptitude would be an asset.
· A welding background and experience would be an asset.
· A valid CWB Certificate in SMAW would be an asset.
· PME experience and licensing would be an asset.
· Capable of travel, working on the road, and being away for extended runs and shifts.
· Capable of working in a variety of climactic conditions.
