Commercial/ Retail Construction Sales Rep.

• This sales candidate will be expected to generate quality commercial and retail renovation and construction leads and should have an existing “book of clients/leads” of their own.
• The ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications in an architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and site services capacity is a definite asset.
• Ability to interpret a scope of work and effectively communicate/discuss the scope with the owner and/or estimator.
• Must have a thorough understanding of construction terminology and be familiar with all facets of the renovation / construction industry.
• Full administration and office support is available for obtaining resources, preparing invites, and gathering information for submission. Note: You will be given a great deal of autonomy and direct support from the owner.
• Ability to work remotely and from home if required/desired.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
• Keep internal records up to date on sales activities.

Qualifications:

• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Must live in the general vicinity of the GTA for ease of access to clientele.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in the sector with projects from approx. $100k-$2M in total value.
• Sales experience from a General Contracting perspective is a must.
• Must have a cell phone and own transportation.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
• Must possess a unique ability to determine leads and opportunities that are genuine and good quality in nature.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and be experienced with various database platforms to organize and follow up sales leads efficiently.
