CSN Collision Centres Looking for Auto Body Technician at North York, Ontario, Canada Full Time

CSN Garyray is looking for an Auto Body Technician to join our team. Our Auto Body Technician must be able to take a vehicle in a damaged state and repair or restore damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance. The Incumbent is detailed oriented and can multitask to accommodate shifting priorities. The technician reports to the Production Manager.

Job Duties:

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• Performing structural and complete body repairs
• Straighten bent frames and unibodies back to OEM specifications.
• Welding on vehicles with the use of MIG welders and compression spot welders
• Fully dismantle the complete vehicle damaged areas including the blend panel parts in order to identify all hidden damages as early in the repair cycle as possible
• Technician must be able to read and understand the estimates
• Able to work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts
• Experience using frame and measuring equipment
• Ability and willingness to follow standardized production processes
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Experience as an Auto Body Technician
• Must have an Auto Body Collision and Damage Repairer 310B Certificate
• Valid Drivers license required
• Must have own tools, safety footwear

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
