Job Description
The Laboratory Informatics Consultant will have hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS, LV Web
Page Designer, and relational databases. The role will require demonstrable and refined skills managing changing client needs and priorities. The candidate will have significant experience with business analysis translations mapping to technical solution design, development, and configuration with the
LabVantage solution suite. You are fluent and demonstrate verbal and written communication in
English. The candidate shall require comprehensive laboratory informatics system and process knowledge related to LabVantage LIMS and other laboratory informatics functions and system integrations such as ERP, ELN, CDS, and SDMS. As a LIMS Consultant, you must be a detailed-oriented team player with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. This position requires independent remote work with limited oversight.
Desired Qualifications
The successful candidate must have three years or more industry experience as a technical consultant with hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS v6 or higher, LV Web Page Designer, relational databases, and Jasper Reports. Also, one or more of the following: Java, APIs, SQL query creation, including the creation and maintenance of Qualification scripts. You will have at least one year of experience with FDA regulated industries as it relates to processes managed by laboratory informatics systems and technologies. You will have proven business analysis skills with demonstrated ability to map and translate lab processes to LabVantage functions, including technical solution design, configuration, and programming. Additionally, experience with migrating LabVantage from previous versions would be a plus.
