Culture Kizos Inc. is currently looking for a controller to expand its team!

The company

Culture Kizos inc is a growing company that has been working in the cannabis industry since 2020. Holder of a producer’s license with Health Canada, the company’s mission is to cultivate and develop quality cannabis products for recreational and medical purposes. With its efforts in developing innovative cannabis products, and improving its production techniques, Culture Kizos is now in full expansion. The management team is young, dynamic and growing!

The position

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the chosen person will fill a key position in the company. She will have to demonstrate autonomy, rigor, have an eye for detail and a good spirit of collaboration. The incumbent will also have to work closely with the accounting clerk and participate to the team meetings.

Main tasks

• Plan, organize and coordinate the Finance, Accounting and Administration functions;

• Prepare monthly financial statements;

• Ensure complete monitoring of inventories;

• Set up management reports and performance indicators;

• Begin the implementation of the cost price in collaboration with the General Manager;

• Contribute to improving the accounting and control procedures currently in place;

• Submit monthly and annual reports to Health Canada and the CRA;

• Manage customer billing according to the various contracts;

• Prepare the end-of-year accounting and tax file with the accounting firm;

• Prepare the annual budgets;

• Support team members in various administrative tasks;

Experience and skills

• College or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another relevant field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position

• CPA accounting designation, an asset

• Bilingual or good command of French and English both orally and in writing

• Knowledge of Acomba accounting software

• Advanced knowledge of the Office suite

• Ability to analyze and solve problems

• Team spirit and collaboration

• Knowledge of the cannabis and/or agricultural sector an asset
