Assembly Technician
We are looking for a talented Assembly Technician to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our New Power Business in Mississauga, ON.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly identifying non-conforming materials. Implements changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function’s needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard, performs quality inspections, ensuring product quality through standard work, and inspections.
Meet production goals by operating equipment for manufacturing and assembly.
Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Maintains clean and organized work area, including machine cleaning and routine housekeeping tasks.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Ability to stand for extended period, lift 50 pounds and good coordination
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
