At D.W. Cooper, we install complete water, storm, and sanitary services on all our sites. The right candidate for the Servicing Foreman position will have a minimum of three years experience working with or leading a pipe crew. We’re looking for someone who takes safety seriously, has a high standard for quality work and wants to continue to grow within the company. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working as a part of a team and wants to see those around them succeed.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience working with or leading pipe crew.
- Heavy equipment operating experience.
- Watermain testing and commissioning experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience using 3D site positioning and machine control (GPS) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lead a team and mentor others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The Role Includes (but is not limited to):
- Working with management to plan for upcoming projects and scheduling field team.
- Leading field team to create a safe working environment and ensure work is completed at a high- quality level.
- Responsible for the overall production level of the servicing division.
- Communicating professionally with customers and vendors.
- Providing project as-built reports, commissioning plans, and other reports, as required.
