Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
Casual teaching position in pre-clinic and clinic settings in the undergraduate Dental Hygiene programs as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Must possess a current practicing license as a registered dental hygienist in Nova Scotia. Must possess current CPR (BLS) certification. Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Must possess a Bachelor degree. Must have completed coursework or certificate in teaching methodology.
Qualified applicants with previous experience teaching in the Dalhousie University School of Dental Hygiene will be given preference. Hiring will be done in accordance with precedence as per the CUPE collective agreement.
Salary Range/Pay Rate $39.64 per hour, per the CUPE Collective Agreement
