Danby Appliances Looking for Inside Sales Associate (Academic) at Guelph, ON Full Time

Job Overview

Academic Inside Sales Associate for the B2B Division. This is a new position in this department. Under the general direction of the Customer Service/B2B Manager and in liaison with the Academic team to follow-up and coordinate communications between Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Quality Control.

Canada

You will do:

Sales Liaison for Shipping

• Generate and review Sales and Open order reports daily
• Track Orders and follow-up with shipments until destination is reached

Installation Coordinator

• Assist in scheduling and coordinate installations between school and installer
• Work with Sales and customer to give white glove installations including setting up pre-install site inspections and offering different install services covering white glove or quick installs.

RFP/Bid Support

• Assist with Academic proposals and coordinate between sales and marketing to completion.
• Tracking down all pertinent documents needed for Bid including state required forms when required.
• Seek out service centers around universities to provide complete warranty coverage.

Inside Sales Support

• Support outside sales reps and VP of Sales while traveling or out of the office
• Assist with marketing campaigns
• Work with Quality Control and Product Manager on projects

You will have:

• Highly organized individual with outstanding MS PowerPoint and Excel including pivot tables.
• Team Player: Works well with others to find solutions. Must be able to respond quickly with an attention to detail.
• College degree preferred (BA, BS)
• Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers when needed.

This role will be hybrid with 2 days per week on site minimum

• Sales: 1 year (preferred)
