Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in downtown Vancouver, BC. The Accountant’s responsibilities include performing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, managing tax returns, and ensuring tax compliance. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, and working closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc)
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in public accounting is considered an asset

Language required: English
Compensation: $40K – $50K/year
