One of our automotive clients is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their plant in Ancaster, ON for their facility.
Shift – Night
Responsibilities
- Ensures that shift support teams are fully qualified to support all shifts to maintain production requirements
- Reviews monthly performance metrics and implements continuous improvement/performance management actions
- Implements and maintains work order system and electronic purchasing/maintenance management system
- Purchases maintenance supplies as required
- Provides input into equipment maintenance, repair, and purchase decisions
- Provides input into annual facility contracts
- Obtains quotations for facility and equipment repairs / improvements that involve external contractors
- Ensure the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 are conformed to
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Any Skilled Tradesperson (Millwright, Machinist, Electrician) certification is preferred.
- Candidates with Technologist or Engineering post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- Experience with metal forming, pressing, and machining / automaton equipment required
