As an Administrative Assistant, your organizational and communication skills are key, along with your attention to detail. You will assist with document formatting and review, report preparation and reproduction, shipping/distribution of plans and documents, answer the phones, inventory supplies, and maintain the filing system.
A Day In The Life:
Preparing various items such as letters, bid instructions, meeting minutes, weekly updates, memos, proposals, outline specifications, timesheets, and expense reports Point person for proposal and capabilities packages. Preparation for meetings and trainings including scheduling, preparing handouts, and coordinating lunches Book all travel when necessary Order corporate apparel, promotional items, and client gifts Coordinate career fair attendance and recruitment efforts Active role in planning and coordinating corporate and client events.
Qualifications:
Strong technical skills in office software applications, including Microsoft Office Strong written and oral communication skills, including customer service orientation Effective organizational and judgment skills in response to continuous multi-tasking Ability to work under pressure and time constraint with a positive attitude Maintain utmost confidentiality in personal and professional matters Ability to effectively work in a team environment with staff Experience with database software will be a benefit.
