WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Senior Manager, L&D Operations & Quality who can lead and support supply chain operations and Quality.

This role will be based out of our Eastside Facility in Etobicoke.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Be the main point of contact to support Quality and Supply Chain Operations learnings, globally
• Act as the lead project manager for Training software and learning content within the pillar
• Champion a learning culture by helping to devise strategies for learner engagement and meet completion targets for key learning programs a the production site
• Be the visionary lead for training and engagement for the SCM pillar and Quality department
• Communicate updates pertaining to training metrics, training completion, and any necessary systems updates
• Manage and oversee external/third party training resources. Oversee, in partnership with stakeholders, the development, implementation, and management of a training matrix and training plans based on job roles
• Foster a strong curriculum program for individuals working with internal/external SMEs to create content and learning experiences and develop, implement, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics relating to post-training summary evaluations, and completion trends
• Collaborate with management to ensure that course content, learning objectives, and supporting training materials reflect business processes and current regulatory standards
• Support GMP Training, New Hire Training, Train-the-Trainer, and On-the-Job programs to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory authority requirements
• Support administrative functions such as: demonstrating to users on how to login and use the required systems (Intelex, Dayforce, etc.)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, psychology or related field OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience working in the quality and/or supply chain operations space or similar fields preferred, and minimum 2 years people management / leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of and minimum 5 years experience in instructional design practices (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), adult learning principles, interactive learning design, and blended learning techniques (instructor-led, eLearning, self-paced, etc.). Familiarity with and experience using popular authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Elucidat, etc.) is essential.
• Experience working with software systems for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365; SAP; NetSuite), Quality Management System (QMS) (e.g. Intelex)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences, present project status, effectively convey deliverables to stakeholders at all levels, and influence decisions and perspectives
