Supporting and reporting to the Manager, Human Resources – Service Delivery, the Senior Team Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, designs and implements human resources strategies, leads the team of Human Resources business partners and develops, implements and maintains service delivery strategies and solutions. The incumbent is also the Human Resources Business Partner for a designated region, supporting strategic planning, responding to employment-related matters and providing human resources-related advice and support to managers and employees. In addition, the incumbent provides proactive advice and recommendations to the Manager, Human Resources–Service Delivery, Human Resources, business partners, managers and supervisors, as well as other Human Resources team members on how to manage, complex employee relations and health and wellness-related situations, solves typical problems and leads special projects, as required. The Senior Team Leader, Human Resources Business Partner manages the human resources requirements for the team of Human Resources business partners. The incumbent also develops creative solutions and ensures the team is focused on collaboration, quality and timeliness of deliverables.

WORKING CONDITIONS
DCC is responsible for the Personnel Security Clearance process. Typically to be eligible for a “Reliability” clearance, you must have five years of verifiable background information and to be eligible for a “Secret” clearance, you must have 10 years of verifiable background information. The process usually involves reference inquiries, verification of qualifications, criminal records checks, and credit checks (as required) and may require fingerprints.
