This is a hybrid role located at dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre and you will be responsible for providing support on all areas within the finance department.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity
Role Overview
Download bank transactions daily
Send bank transactions to the practices daily
Download NSF and EFT return information and share with practices
General Ledger maintenance
Process transfers between bank accounts
Prepare month-end checklist and track progress daily
Process finance invoices in procurement system
Maintain ticketing system by assigning finance tickets
Send monthly emails to practices
Post journal entries
Run GL details for analysis purpose
Run monthly practices P&L’s
Coordination of monthly inventory counts
Provide administration support to the finance team
Investigate and resolve issues with support from other team members
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
What we’re looking for
University Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance
Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a similar role/environment
Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
A self-starter, highly positive can-do attitude in a rapidly changing environment
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel (pivot tables and look-ups), Word and PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
Motivated to take on new challenges
Excellent communication skills and a “people person”
Bilingual in French would be an asset
