The NB 911 Bureau’s mandate is to develop, establish, operate and improve the provincial 9-1-1 service. We are focused on delivering the right resources to the right location in the fastest time possible.
What you will do
Reporting to the Manager, Service Quality, Performance and Engagement, NB 911 you will be responsible for supporting the change management plan and project teams by ensuring effective communications between the project teams, critical stakeholders, other jurisdictions and all levels of government; developing or providing strategic support for the development of communication and engagement strategies to support project teams and to develop required governance and accountability structure: and providing the critical role of issues management by developing strategies to address emerging issues that may pose a risk to meeting project timelines and deliverables.

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to problem-solve creatively and think on your feet. You have experience as a public safety telecommunicator or emergency service provider in an operations setting. You are concerned for the well-being of New Brunswickers and motivated to do work that makes our communities safer. You are organized, self-motivated, and ready to learn new things. You are confident and respectful, you treat people in a polite and professional manner, always being courteous and showing kindness, while also advocating for yourself and your team’s mandate.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Wage
Pay Band 5: $61,204 – 85,514
