As the ideal candidate, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proactive, organized, and have excellent written communications skills. You will be helping with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the office while supporting the leadership team with their duties.
The role will be mainly focused on supporting unique objectives of the leadership team, geared towards organizing, planning, and executing company-wide tasks and campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft, edit and prepare correspondence
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel and professionals as needed
- Schedule Discoveries, Mediations, Trials, Case Plan Conferences, etc
- Making sure appointments and notices are served in accordance with best practices
- Setting up milestones in Ghost Practice
- Managing Lawyer’s calendars
- Provide clerical support (eg. file correspondence, schedule meetings and scan documents);
Qualifications
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and non-routine information
- Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
- Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, and prioritize and multi- task in a deadline driven environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
- Legal, Real Estate or Finance Industry experience an asset but not required

- Secondary School (preferred)
