We are a mid size CPA Firm located in Oakville that is seeking a full time bookkeeper for our organization. Public Accounting experience is a must.
Duties:
- Create trial balance for many client files
- Process Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete various account reconciliations including bank
- Process personal tax returns
- Liase with Revenue Canada
- Payroll processing
- HST remittances
- Financial Statement Preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or Finance or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and general auditing policies
- Possess great interest in working with different people
- Effective and explicit communication skills in both oral and written forms
- Computer skills: possess knowledge of Microsoft Suites, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and also proficiency in the use of audit and accounting software
- Possess good interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
