The Business Development Representative will be the first point of contact between our prospective clients and Digital Convergence. A successful candidate will analyze data, prioritize new leads, develop a specific and tailored outreach approach, and schedule discovery calls with prospective clients. This will require them to work on an agile sales process, research prospects and maintain profitable relationships. On any given day, you’ll work to build customer relationships, provide superior customer service, close deals and network to build a strong pipeline of future customers

ROLE SPECIFICS
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the organization’s core value proposition and products, and be able to effectively communicate it to prospects.
High-volume prospecting of businesses in various industries based on the ideal target market.
Research, identify and communicate with decision-makers.
Strategic cold calling and cold email outreach with the purpose of building relationships with potential customers.
Handle prospect objections and follow up with decision-makers using different outbound sales tactics and tools
Discover and understand prospects’ needs using a question-based selling approach.
Work closely with Account Executives to achieve organizational sales goals. This includes booking discovery calls between AE’s and prospects.
Manage an in-depth and organized Sales Development pipeline on the CRM system. Demonstrating proficiency in using the CRM on a day-to-day basis.
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and consistently attain Sales Qualified Lead quota. (SQL)
Self-start and participate in campaigns that involve nurturing and maintaining an existing customer base.
REQUIREMENTS
What you need to be successful in the role:

A knack for building relationships with potential customers, understanding their environment, and introducing new concepts to solve their problems.
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence on the phone speaking to various individuals.
The ability to craft engaging emails
Strong computer skills including Google Workspace, email campaign tools, CRM implementation and engagement.
Excellent organization skills, familiarity with sales plans/pipelines & using a schedule to achieve goals, tracking efforts and results.
Ideal candidate:
Has a college degree in Business Administration or Marketing field.
3+ years of experience in a Sales role/ Customer Service role.
Experience in reaching/exceeding monthly goals or quotas.
Is a self-starter who desires to learn, grow and excel in their role.
Will fit in with the candid nature of the company culture.
Has proficient computer skills.
