We are looking for an Experience Designer to join the Digital Convergence team, a dynamic digital capabilities consulting firm that provides robust digital solutions that focus on unlocking the potential for our customers and their employees.
The Experience Designer role plays a critical role in delivering digital capabilities and product design. As an Experience Designer, you have a human-centric approach (and are opinionated) about technology and its role in society today. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to discover, prototype, design, and create experiences that drive meaningful impact for our clients, their employees and their customers.
This position is open to local and/or remote work-from-home in Canada.
ROLE SPECIFICS
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, produce and present user experience deliverables with limited oversight, including but not limited to sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, experience strategy documentation, process flows, user journey maps, etc.
Participate, lead and execute discovery activities such as design workshops, stakeholder interviews, accessibility audits, expert reviews, competitive reviews, etc.
Lead user research activities such as user testing, persona development and user journeys.
Collaborate and contribute to asset creation, production and enhancements of creative visuals.
Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to create innovative, best-in-class customer-centric solutions.
Stay informed on User Experience and Design best practices, trends, and tools.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience creating and optimizing digital user experiences – websites, marketing, applications, etc.
Must demonstrate experience designing for web and mobile that support progressive and responsive design layouts.
In-depth, proven & practical design experience using tools such as Sketch, Figma or other toolsets, including Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to lead user research, user testing, and accessibility workshops.
Ability to map extensive end-to-end client journeys.
Ability to manage change and stakeholder expectations alongside scope, judgement and timelines.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to establish trust and rapport.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
