Digital Public Square (DPS) seeks an experienced Finance and Operations Director to drive our organization’s financial operations and improve financial performance. We are looking for someone whose eyes light up when they hear about an opportunity to help grow an established entity that is rapidly accelerating within a working culture of smart, genuinely caring, and driven people.

Our next Director of Finance and Operations will help us maximize our impact. What you will do:
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Finance and Operations will be primarily responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient financial and related operational functions of DPS.
This director will play a critical role as a member of DPS’ senior leadership team as we continue to enhance our quality programming and build capacity.
Finance (80%):
The Director of Finance and Operations will harmonize the financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, advance efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting and grant regulations, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. This is a full-time position with health benefits starting immediately. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we are a “digital by default” company with team members working remotely and with access to our offices. We are exclusively looking for people eligible to work in Canada and an Ontario-based resident that can join us in one of our offices (192 Spadina Ave, Toronto, or 123 Slater Street, Ottawa).
