We are seeking a Help Desk IT Support Dispatch person to join our team! You will answer 40-60 calls per day and 30-60 emails per day and speak to clients who have technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Answer each phone call and email
Speak to clients and ensure we understand their issues and the importance
Document the issues and organize who on our team is doing the work and in which order items get done based on priority
Follow up on all clients issues each day
Be a client advocate and make sure clients are getting great service from our company
Ensure constant communication with clients
Set expectations with clients and make sure they are met and communicate with clients to change expectations as things change – ex. technician is running behind so we need to reschedule etc.
Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of IT technicians engaged in the following duties: co-ordinating production work; dispatching crews; scheduling technicians and routes;
Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues, prepare and submit progress and other reports and co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments
Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Requisition supplies and materials
Qualifications:
Good working knowledge of tech and IT – but not too much – the idea is NOT to fix technical issues for client – the idea is to provide awesome customer service.
Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor
