Who We Are Looking For
Counterpoint Engineering (CPE) is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who is driven, hard-working andcollaborative, and who wants to continue to gain varied experiences in the land development industry. Someone who strives to provide their stakeholders with excellent experience through their professionalism and responsiveness. At CPE, we work as one team. Our office is located in Vaughan. We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life. This is a 12-month Maternity Leave Contract.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be a welcome addition to our dynamic accounting team. As an A/P Clerk, you will showcase your financial, organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced professional office environment. Your ability to create strong working relationships with your stakeholders will elevate your and the company’s collective success. Accounts Payable and Administration
- Timely and accurate processing of vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Timely and accurate processing of internal expense claims
- Assistance with accounts payable journal entries
- Organizing and maintaining accounts payable filing system
- Communication with project managers, leads, project administrators, and finance staff
- General assistance with other accounting and administrative functions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
What you will need to succeed
- This is an entry level position. New graduates will be considered
- Secondary school diploma or completion of a post-secondary diploma program in business related field
Experience:
- Strong computer skills; including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe
- Established and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
