Dillon’s HR department is undergoing an exciting transformation and our team is growing.
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager with expertise in Employee Relations, Policy writing, Employment Law, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Inclusion & Diversity, and various HR functions, with experience and strong passion in the development of the next generation of HR professionals.

The nature of the role is dynamic and the scope of responsibilities may change from time to time to support evolving business needs. This role will work closely with the senior management team and report to the Head of HR.
Responsibilities:
Strategy: support the development and execution of strategic people priorities in collaboration with the HR management team and senior management team as a whole
People Management: lead, coach, and develop a high-performance team of HRBPs and COEs to provide value added service to business leaders
Project Management: oversee HR projects and initiatives and provide guidance and subject matter expertise to project team members to ensure excellence in service and project delivery
Coaching: provide coaching and consultation for internal and external stakeholders and employees through complex workplace matters
Promoting Dillon Culture and Values: foster an environment of trust and inclusivity where thought diversity and creativity is celebrated; contribute to continuous development of people and systems with a customer focus
Qualifications:
5+ years of corporate HR experience with 2+ years in people management
CHRL or equivalent HR designation, and/or post-graduate education in HR related field an asset
Experience in HRIS system implementation, policy writing, performance management system and compensation framework development, and training & development an asset
Excellent communication, project management, people analytics, and problem solving skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Experience:
Experience in program implementation specifically performance management, compensation and training & development.
Experience working in professional services consulting preferred; applicants from other industries will be considered.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Extensive HR knowledge across multiple HR functions.
Proven experience developing a team of HR professionals.
Ability to develop, review, modify a variety of HR presentations and reports.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to drive results and effectively manage a variety of HR projects.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
