Dimensional Strategies Inc. Looking for Intermediate Business Analyst at Toronto, Ontario, Canada

DSI’s primary goal is to help our customers execute their business processes more efficiently and effectively via investments in applications and analytics. Core practices include – Cloud Infrastructure, Application Development, Analytics, and Managed Services.

The Position: We are looking for Business Analysts. In this role you establish the project deliverables and the high-level data architecture for our engineering teams. This includes taking ownership for the following:

• Understanding the overall customer value chain of the client.
• Working with our client’s stakeholders to understand the business processes they need to gain insights into.
• Tracing the elements of the business processes to their source data.
• Determining the business and data rules to ensure the information systems we build have integrity.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills and an ability to speak to audiences at all levels of an organization.
• An understanding of value chains and an ability to apply them to multiple industries.
• An ability to break down a value chain into its underlying business processes.
• Experience with business applications and the ability to source where data resides within them.
• Attention to detail and able follow established processes.
• Experience in requirements gathering or business process improvement would be an asset.
