Direct Employment is hiring for stitching operators for one of our client in Etobicoke.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Cutting, sewing, and gluing fabric according to the requirements of each article.

· Affixing zippers, clasps, laces, magnets, and similar fittings.

· Measuring and cutting leather or fabric with the aid of design stencils.

· Gluing, nailing, and stitching fabric into place.

· Conducting quality checks for orders in-process and completed.

Experience and Abilities

· High attention of detail and organization required.

· Competency in using computers and electronic devices.

· Ability to work independently while ensuring deadlines are met.

· Ability to distinguish between colors.

· Ability to efficiently switch-tasking with excellent time management skills.

· Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate objects.

· Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for the entire work day.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

Position Type and Location

· Full Time

· 40 hours weekly

This position is restricted to those legally entitled to work in Canada
