Discovery Community College has an instructing opportunity available for the right individual, to help guide our students through their LPN training. 

Our instructors play a vital role in changing lives and positively impacting the health care sector in BC, leading students through their theory, laboratory and clinical training toward entering the work force as fully qualified and desperately needed LPNs.

The instruction will be campus based and in-facility and in accordance with all COVID-19 protocols and procedures. (currently in Campbell River)

  What you have:

• Passion for making a real difference required!

• Current full registration with the BCCNM – required.

• Three or more years of full-time nursing experience – required.

• Minimum 4200 hours of nursing experience

• nursing experience must include experience in acute care settings

• Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring / instructing)

• Provincial Instructors Diploma and previous experience or

• Aptitude and willingness to learn and obtain an Instructor Diploma (with our help)
