Salary Range
$120,000.00 – $130,000.00 base salary, plus bonus

Job Description
This role is for a large mixed-use redevelopment project. This joint venture is proudly creating a highly productive, world-leading development with the ability to attract the world’s best retail brands. This project will be an essential part of the community’s social and economic fabric, with an ambition to develop a superior world class retail, office, and residential destination in Vancouver by integrating food, fashion, leisure, and entertainment.
Based in Vancouver, BC and reporting to the Director of Tenant Coordination (with a dotted line working relationship with Project Area Development Lead), the Manager, Tenant Coordination and Construction will have a significant presence on site and be an integral part of our Client’s development team. Manager, Tenant Coordination and Construction forms a crucial role within a project-focused group having the responsibility to support in a successful delivery of the large scale, multi-phased, fast-track, mixed-use project that includes a new retail mall.
Working within a joint venture ownership team, and along with third party consultants, owner’s representative/project manager, and contractors, Manager of Tenant Coordination and Construction will support the Director for coordinating key aspects and liaise with the design and construction team of our Client’s highly valued Tenants, and act as the Landlord’s representative to monitor and ensure timely progress and completion of Tenant’s Fit-out works, aligned with Ownership’s new mall opening timeline and associated requirements.
Manager, Tenant Coordination and Construction has the responsibility to implement the established Tenant Coordination processes, which will guide, drive, and lead tenants’ opening efforts for the new redevelopment. Tenants will include in-line mercantile shops, high-end luxury brands, food & beverage/restaurant/hospitality units, entertainment areas, cultural spaces, and high-end luxury auto dealers in a combination of indoor and outdoor setting.
This position will serve as the assisting supervisor responsible for Landlord’s delivery of the premises, applying the tenant coordination process, implementing tenant design criteria and guidelines, and will be part of the Landlord’s contact and liaison on all matters related to tenant coordination, working internally with Leasing, Mall Operations, Development teams, and externally with Owner’s Representative/ Project Manager, Design Consultants, General Contractors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction to assure each deal and Tenants’ opening represents the company’s best interest and meets or exceeds the rent commencement date.
This role supports the Director (Senior Lead) and Senior Manager, Tenant Coordination with respect to the Retail Tenant design, permit deliverables leading up to handover and thereafter, the oversight and daily site coordination for the work within Tenant’s premises. The successful candidate will monitor the Tenant’s CRU fit-out and provide coordination for all site-related scope. This successful candidate will also coordinate the work of each CRU with work around other CRUs and base building construction, as well as coordination of daily deliveries, clean-up and garbage removal.
This position requires a person with superior communication and interpersonal skills, solutions-oriented mindset, high attention to detail, basic understanding of leasing strategies, and ability to appropriately communicate design & construction matters, and to understand the unique market position that this redevelopment will occupy.
The project is expected to be complete around June 2025. Future work for this role will be contingent on future developments.
