dnaPower is a Vancouver based biotech company providing leading edge DNA testing for preventative health. The business works with both customers and partners to put practical diet, fitness and health recommendations in people’s hands based on their unique genetic makeup. Our goal is to empower individuals with the power to take over their own health with DNA testing.
This position is a creative, customer-centric, and challenging role with autonomy to implement your business development ideas with the support of the team.

This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic women-owned and managed business to help people live healthier lives. It is a flexible role with broad responsibilities and remote work. Preference will be given to a certified nutritionist or near-graduating nutrition student.
Hours: Ideally some hours available each day Monday to Friday. Job is intended to be flexible to work with your life. Team Zoom meetings Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Location: Vancouver or Greater Vancouver preferred
Salary: Contract/employment position paid monthly
*Position duties are flexible depending on candidate skills and skill balance in team
Education
- Nutrition Certification (preferred)
- Marketing courses, digital marketing, business degree or other post secondary education preferred
Skills
- A team player that is self directed and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once
- Excellent understanding of client care
- Ability to solve problems and generate ideas
- Flexible to work and coordinate with many areas of the business
IT Experience
Previous experience using any of the following platforms will be considered a bonus: Microsoft Office, Active Campaign, Wordpress, WooCommerce, Canva, Paypal
Partner & Affiliate Management and Business Development
- Manage Partner onboarding and relationship process
- Develop and execute Partner marketing, campaigns, materials and events
- Enroll and manage Affiliates
- Identify and pursue potential partnership opportunities
- Work directly with CEO on larger B2B accounts
DNA Report Reviews and Meal Plans
- Conduct/support DNA report reviews with partners
- Develop meal plans for customers
- Support articles and posts on DNA, nutrition and health
- Present on DNA and Diet at trade shows and partner events
Certification Course Management
- Organize ongoing updates and material needed for certification course
PR and Business Development
- Pitch CEO for podcast interviews and speaking events.
- Source influencers with input from social media manager.
- Maintain Influencer and Affiliate links and coupon codes.
- Research and target larger B2B accounts.
Customer Care Support
- Assist Customer Care Manager with B2C clients with email health questions plus coverage when on holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 – 30 per week
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
