Dog Jogs is a professional dog walking/jogging and pet-sitting company that provides pet owners peace of mind and security knowing their pets are in good, loving hands.
Job Summary
Are you someone who just loves to be greeted by dogs and cats? Do you love the outdoors, enjoy jogging/walking, and being around animals? We are a team of professional pet caregivers looking for a few motivated and positive dog and cat people for dog jogs/walks and daily pet check-ins. We offer services in: Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Beaumont, Leduc and soon Beaumont

Driving to clients’ homes, having a day mix of dog jogs ( yes, actually jogging !), walks and cat visits during workdays.

You will also be responsible for scooping litter boxes, administering medication, taking in mail, plant watering, feeding, cleaning pet bowls and picking up after pets.

Pretending you’re a professional pet photographer on each visit. Our clients love getting pics of their pets, and so do our social media followers- We hope you like taking selfies and videos!

Sending detailed updates to the Pet Parents via our free app with some of those amazing photos you took.

Taking over our Instagram stories and creating reels to share about Dog Jogs!

Assisting with other tasks when needed such as: blog writing, content creation for social media, putting up posters, handing out information about Dog Jogs within the communities you walk in etc.

Typical duties include, jogging, walking lots of TLC, feeding, administering pills, taking in mail, plant watering, cleaning pet bowls and picking up after pets.

Being able to “speak dog” and have “cat conversations” is a plus! =)
REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum availability of 3 days a week between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday plus one weekend each month. (Available more? that works too!)

Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in Canada for at least the next 12 months

Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months

Over 18 years of age ( due to insurance )

Have a smartphone with data
-
Own your own reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.

The ability to jog 6-10km in an hour (the average dog jog), PLUS walking 3-15km for the rest of your workday with the dogs.

Able to provide a current and clean police record check

Power through all types of weather including some extreme cold/hot temperatures (under safe procedures)
