We are a fast-growing organization, currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator that is a resourceful and creative self-starter with strong work ethic, and organizational skills, looking to learn and grow in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The Opportunity
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the execution of all Dokainish & Company’s Marketing plans to drive engagement, brand awareness, and elevate our online presence with a clear marketing and media strategy. This is a non-remote, in office position based in downtown Toronto.
Responsibilities
Create and post social media content.
Manage social media pages for Dokainish & Company including following and liking supporters, engaging with comments and posts, and responding to direct social media messages.
Develop and manage ads and boosted posts as requested.
Research and develop ways to attract new followers as well as traffic to our website.
Analize and report on the development of the company’s online presence by tracking monthly KPIs, insights, and audience engagement for all social media, print and online channels.
Produce and execute marketing plans and goals, campaigns, and company strategy for North America and foreign markets expansion.
Optimize and research best practices for all Marketing activities.
Provide support in updating our website as assigned.
Develop monthly and weekly marketing and communication strategies.
Research and write impactful copy and create compelling posts and videos.
Organize and manage the company’s content calendar for all online channels.
Stay current on the latest marketing and design trends.
Help build positive relations and engagement with the community, internal team, and external parties.
Write and send media and company articles, press releases, and event invites as assigned.
Maintain and update contact lists.
Track media coverage.
Collaborate with our team’s subject matter experts to develop relevant, meaningful content as needed.
Ensure our online presence is in alignment with the overall marketing and company’s goals and mission.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent combination of technical skills and experience.
3+ years’ experience in a related field.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.
Highly driven and results oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading and layout/design skills are essential.
Strong social media background and experience
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Wide degree of creativity and strong attention to detail.
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in social media and digital media.
Able to work independently but also thrive as part of a collaborative, diverse team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Sound judgment, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
This is a non-remote, in office position based in Toronto
