Position title: EAI Developer

Location: Montreal (hybrid)

Reports to: Supervisor, Integration Development

Reporting to the Supervisor, Integration Development – The EAI Developer will participate in the evolution, and oversee the technical execution of Domtar’s EAI landscape design, development, implementation, and support of EAI Solutions. The scope of the role includes multiple EAI/EDI platforms (webMethods, Contivo, Boomi) and Domtar’s MFT landscape. You will also be responsible for development of mapping, configuration and error handling coding.

Responsabilities:

• Provide Develpment support for Systems Integration software components such as webMethods, GoAnywhere, Boomi, Contivo, MFT, etc.
• Perform escelations/promotions as needed for EDI. Work closely with the admin team to ensure seamless implementations of application releases.
• Manage the configuration of the webMethods components such as Integrations Server, Broker, My webMethods Server (MWS), etc.
• Work with other IT application teams to support application downtimes, system readiness after downtime, and ensuring all transactions are successfully processed after downtime.
• Maintain manuals, technical training material, and reference material
• Participate in testing strategies and support migrations/upgrade to ensure EAI is minimally impacted and compliant with updated landscapes, security requirements and procedures.
• Participate and consult on new technology discussions and planning.

Required Professional Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field of study or equivalent experience coupled with 2-6 years of related experience that includes recent experience in business intelligence and business analysis.
• Strong Experience with integration development, webMethods preferred. Boomi optional.
• Experience working with EAI admins and analysts.
• Experience responding to IT Service Requests, Requests for Change and Incidents.
• Ability to work autonomously on tasks, yet be a team player with a collaborative spirit and good analytical and synthetic mind.
• Ability to travel as needed (estimated 5%) to remote locations, conferences, and/or training

Preferred education and certifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience and at least 1 year of hands-on experience with SoftwareAG webMethods Suite.

• Good knowledge in Contivo, Boomi, and other MFT tools.

• Experience working on high volume systems in a multi-site, DR, HA environment.
• Experience working with XML; WSDL, X12, IDOC; and fixed and variable length flat files.
