JOB DESCRIPTION
A Tire Handler is an important member of the Tire Department who reports to the Tire Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
A Tire Handler is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Load, unload and move product and materials manually (by hand) or with the use of basic material handling equipment.
- Deliver tires to customers in an efficient and professional manner.
- Shuttle customers, as required.
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking materials.
- Pick up products from suppliers.
- Perform general shop cleaning.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
The hours in the Tire Department are 8:00am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
- Physically fit and able to lift/carry 50lbs
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Types: Seasonal, Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
