OPTOMETRY OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
- Monday to Friday (one evening Thursday until 7:30p.m.) – 34-40 hours/week
- Minimum starting salary $18/hour but can be adjusted according to experience

WHO ARE WE?
We are a very well-established full scope optometry clinic located in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario providing high quality eye care to residents of West Nipissing. We provide all aspects of eye care such as comprehensive eye examinations, emergency eye care, management and treatment of eye disease and optical dispensing of glasses and contact lenses.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Optometry Office Receptionist supports our clinic and optometrists by fulfilling several functions such as:
- Greeting and pretesting patients
- Answering and triaging telephone calls
- Verifying health card information
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Processing of credit cards, cash and insurance payments
- Performing minor repairs and adjustments of glasses
REQUIRED SKILLS
We are looking for a team player that has excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities. The candidate must have proficient computer skills, must be able to multitask and be bilingual, pleasant, efficient and reliable. Experience in an optometry clinic or a health care setting would be considered an asset.
