F&B Supervisor – Private Golf Club

Responsibilities

Oversee operating standards and procedures for Restaurant service.
Provide effective leadership to direct reports, including coaching, training, managing performance and encouraging professional development activities for new and experienced employees.
Create new and innovative ways to meet, and respond to, the needs and demands of an ever-changing, diverse membership.
Maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring that all new product stock is put away properly.
Assist in the communication of cocktail features, as well as menu details to ensure service staff are knowledgeable about our offerings.
Ensure menus are up to date, in good condition and available in all areas. · Ensure preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards of service areas, specifically the bar/server areas.
Build member relationships by being present on the floor as much as possible while bartending and serving.
Follow all Club alcohol procedures and policies.
Conduct monthly inventory count and submit inventory in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain wine lists, cocktail lists, and the beverage program, in conjunction with the Restaurant Supervisor.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and execute to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Any other food and beverage related duties that may be assigned.

Required Skills

Smart Serve certified required
Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner
Ability to access and accurately input information using POS system
General knowledge of food and food handling techniques
Approachable, pleasant, polite, fast
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays·
Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision ·
Must be able to understand both oral and written English·
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada

Compensation– Competitive hourly rate plus guaranteed gratuities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Salary: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
