Corporate Training Services (CTS) is a $12M division, with a 30-year history as part of Durham College. CTS provides training services to private and public companies, governments, non-profits and crown corporations. Our solutions are vast, and include commercial driver licensing, equipment licensing, immersive learning, trades advancement, leadership and management, professional proctoring and sales and service. And we partner with some of the biggest brands in corporate education.
This role will focus on Corporate Training Services’ business operations process optimization, systems, management reporting, pricing, governance, operational improvement and optimization projects, with the ultimate goal of establishing operational excellence and rapid growth principals across CTS operations departments. The role will work closely with the CTS Director, CTS leadership team, and CTS support admin staff. The role will also support annual planning and budgeting, business case development, strategic initiatives, large customer and partner contracts and RFP opportunities.
This role will lead strategic projects for CTS around systems, integrated business process and operations, and will liaise directly with finance, procurement, HR, executive and other functions at Durham College.
The role will also manage complexity considerations for CTS including risk items, sales tax, revenue and deliver backlog, sales pipeline conversation factors, business cases, and complex deal pricing, risk quantification and cost estimation.
