The Social Media Content Creator will execute end-to-end content production for Dwelling’s social media channels, focusing on short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Reporting to the Growth Manager, we’re looking for someone who can create relatable, funny, and educational content while supporting Dwelling’s mission to tear down all financial barriers for homebuyers. This is a part-time, remote role and an amazing opportunity for a student or recent grad with an interest in content strategy and execution.
You’ll be responsible for driving projects from concept to completion in an environment of autonomy and creativity. And since we’re early, you’ll have an opportunity to shape our brand’s voice.

• Work closely with our founding and marketing team to develop our community
• Identify social media content trends to leverage and test
• Ideate, plan, shoot, and edit 4-6 TikToks and Reels per week based on the Dwelling editorial calendar and style guide
• Assist marketing team with various activations, brainstorms, and content ideation
• Bring a fresh perspective and your own ideas to the table, embracing a no idea / task is too small mentality when executing them
• Constantly experiment and remain adaptable to weekly/monthly trends, and propose ideas on how to tailor these to our brand
• Assist in community management across Dwelling’s social channels, monitoring content engagement and escalating questions and comments as needed
• Measure insights and provide regular reports and findings

Requirements

• Eager to work in a fast-paced and creative startup
• You’re the person that always knows the new trends, sends them to your friends or even curates them yourself
• Comfortable in front of and behind the camera. You wear many hats and can seamlessly move from “talent” to editor to strategist
• Past experience in content curation with knowledge on strategies that perform well on TikTok
• Experienced in the native tools within TikTok and Instagram, as well as other basic video editing tools (InShot, Adobe Rush, etc)
• Proficient in design tools for social media (Figma, Illustrator, Canva)
• Understands Gen Z & Millennial cultural and social trends
• Highly motivated and an out-of-the-box thinker
• Proactive go-getter and effective communicator
• A pro at distilling complicated topics into digestible concepts
