Responsibilities
Job Description
- Making entries to database for accounting and day-to-day operations.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end account reconciliation
- Reconcile operations bank accounts
- Maintaining the integrity of the trust account, including depositing trust and deemed trust fund and disbursing trust funds according to terms set out.
- Responding to client enquiries.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Skills And Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment where you know others count on you.
- Enjoy building relationships through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to quality, accuracy and details.
- Working knowledge and experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred.
- Experience in mortgage origination or mortgage servicing is an asset.
- Experience with mortgage administration software (Dolphin) is an asset.
Education
- Bachelor’s or college degree in Accounting/Finance/Business is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience can be substituted.
Experience:
- Accounting: 1-2 years (preferred)
