Role Summary
This role is responsible for assisting in the strategy, development and execution of digital marketing initiatives using a campaign automation platform, with an emphasis on the technical aspects of the role. These initiatives include search (PPC), display and social media advertising, in addition to conversion rate optimization and more.
What You Will Do:
Set up and provide ongoing maintenance and management of digital advertising for both individual client campaigns as well as overarching campaign blueprints and structure on prominent marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.)
Develop and continuously improve campaigns with a focus on how data can be leveraged to improve performance or further inform and inspire opportunities to explore and recommend innovative and creative digital advertising solutions and testing.
Work with our Data Analyst to use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track and report performance in Google Data Studio, as well as to analyze campaign data and reporting, including providing recommendations and strategy on a monthly basis to identify and propose opportunities to improve or expand their current digital advertising efforts.
Track and manage budget spending and ROI using Google Workspace tools.
Regularly interact with clients through both written and verbal communication in a proactive manner while upholding EDealer’s strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
What You Will Need:
Minimum 2 years in a digital advertising role, with preference given to specialized team or agency experience, especially in designing and managing campaigns using major digital advertising management tools (e.g. Marin, Acquisio, Kenshoo, Skai, etc.)
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment with a combination of both group and independent work, including rotating through opportunities to lead and support other team members
Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications (current), plus experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
Intermediate knowledge of website and SEO best practices
Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keen interest in ongoing learning and professional development
Past experience with bulk data exports and filtering from various sources for a variety of purposes is considered an asset
Past experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
