The Role
To ensure their products hit the mark, they now seek an experienced Electrical/ Electronic Product Leader to embrace this game-changing solution and define an innovative electronic product range that is both highly suited to OEM requirements as well as a manufacturing reality on a global basis.
Responsible for capturing OEM customer requirements, You will define a solution that takes products from conception through APQP, and PPAP to full production through third-party contract manufacturing partners on a global basis, delivering cutting-edge components into the demanding Automotive arena.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall creation and application and management product portfolio strategy
- Create and lead cross-functional engineering and project management teams who create, design, build and validate product concepts
- Partner with Business Development and Marketing to create, identify and execute sales leads which support the growth and profitability goals of the company.
- Ensure the success of customer application projects from quotation to production delivery.
The Person
We seek an intrepid yet pragmatic Electronic R&D automotive component champion who possesses a deep knowledge of inverters along with a proven record of taking highly complex automotive electronics products from R&D concept to final production.
We are particularly keen to identify candidates with inverter, DC/AC converters, Motors and power electronics experience who have a breadth of knowledge in taking automotive products through the project cycle (APQP etc) into production for demanding OEM clients.
In addition, you must be a commercially astute product strategist, and a compelling product champion. Your ability to gain the support of your team your customers and your fellow Directors are key to ensuring this fascinating challenge delivers the success you can deliver.
Candidates should be very experienced at taking power electronics from the design and prototype stage through the entire arc of development into production.
