You will work on large-scale applications processing millions of transactions in a minute. You will work in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering excellence.Current Projects:Shipping workflow orchestration and data aggregation engine.Ship cost estimate and service recommendation engine.International cross border shipping program.Responsibilities:Build solutions using your strong background in large scale web applications and systems.Research, analyze, design, develop and test solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.Participate in design discussions, code reviews and project related team meetings.Work with other software engineers, architects, product owners, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and adherence to development principles and product goals.Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of software engineering experience or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in software design and development.Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.Expert knowledge in practising OOAD, architectural and design patterns, open-source platforms, frameworks, technologies, and software engineering methodologies.Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, XML, Web Technologies, Web Services, Design Patterns, and OOAD.Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS and NoSQL.Hands-on experience in using source control systems such as GitHub, issue tracking systems like JIRA.Great knowledge and practice in agile development.Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure.Excellent decision-making, communication and collaboration, skills.Experience in leading team and mentoring junior engineers a plus.Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
