ECI is currently accepting resumes for a Junior Recruiting Assistant on a temporary contractual basis. The position will be 40-hours per week Monday through Friday. This position is preferably suited for someone residing in Vancouver, BC and can work remotely. The temporary services are estimated to begin end of April and through the end of September.
Candidates will assist in searching for technical consultants by matching them against position minimum qualifications via job boards, job applicants, social networking, being the main contact person for the candidates, negotiating rates, documentation requirements, procurement updates, status reports, any additional assistant team may need. Previous data entry and recruiting experience in Information Technology is essential.
Successful applicants for this position must be competitive, driven, organized, multitasker, goal-oriented, possess a team-focused demeanor, and have excellent communication and computer skills.
Position: Contractor Information Technology Recruiter
Term: Temporary 6 months with a potential contract to hire based on need.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate with the internal team to provide qualified candidates and required documents to meet the needs of client projects.
- Use intelligent searching techniques to research and identify potential Information Technology consultants
- Document recruiting process from conception to hand-over
- Maintain and improve the existing database of client, applicant and employee data
- Be not afraid to make cold calls and talk to candidates on the phone
- Be able to match qualified candidates to work requests based on client needs to meet deadlines
- Be able to communicate with consultants over the phone to negotiate rates and document confirmations in emails
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong written and oral comprehension skills
- Strong customer service background and experience with phone communications
- Proficient with Word, job boards, social media, and the Internet
- Data entry experience
- Reliable, detail-oriented, self-starter attitude
- Very professional atmosphere
- College Degree preferred but not required
- Previous recruiting experience in Information Technology
- Able to adapt to changing environments, ability to multitask, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Understands Information Technology classifications in order to be able to research and find qualified candidates
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm PST.
- Must have the following established to perform the work at home: internet, phone, laptop or desktop computer, mouse, keyboard, desk and chair.
The position will require sitting for long periods of time.
